Whenever possible, the object should be dropped off at the lab for an examination. The initial consultation session is free, usually taking about 30 minutes. A conservation treatment proposal and quote will be mailed out within one week. If terms outlined are agreeable, a signature and deposit are required.

At this point the object(s) will be added to the queue of work in the lab. Turnaround time is usually 1-2 months. Completed work will be packaged securely with archival materials for transport. Payment is to be made before shipping or at time of pick-up.
